Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, November 8 2022

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at 16° Taurus: November 8 2022. 3:02 a.m. PST

To say this eclipse is intense is an understatement.  There is a strong T-Square (a dynamic and tense energy) in the skies:  this Moon  is conjunct Uranus (at 16° Taurus), opposite the Sun and Mercury (at 15° Scorpio), and both the Sun and the Moon are square Saturn (at 18° Aquarius).

This eclipse can bring some unexpected shake ups and developments, and some wake-up calls that bring us back to reality.

As with all eclipses, the energy is unpredictable and very, very powerful.  If you need to make any major decisions the week before or after an eclipse, make sure your reasoning is sound - too often, eclipses can bring a surge of unstable, emotional energy that is not helpful.

With Mercury involved in this particular eclipse, unexpected information can come to light, too.

When an eclipse connects with your natal chart, it can bring an unexpected event that feels jarring at first.  But, there is a portal opening somewhere in your life at the same time, even if something needs to leave your life first. And this portal? It can take you light years into the future, ushering in opportunities you didn't even know existed!

Not everyone will be directly hit by the eclipse, but if you have planets or angles between 15°-19° in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), this eclipse will be impactful for you - especially if your natal Sun is involved.

Lunar Eclipse energies usually take 6 months to fully play out.  Pay attention to any unusual events that come into your life between Nov. 3 and Nov. 12 - they can foreshadow how this eclipse will play out for you.

This eclipse continues on a Scorpio-Taurus axis, which will last until October 2023.  You can learn more about eclipses in Scorpio and Taurus, and what they mean for the world (and the impacted signs), in this post.

Are Eclipses Something to Worry About?

Many of my clients ask if eclipse energy is something to worry about. It's not! But, events might unfold in an unexpected way.
To give you one example from the readings I do: an eclipse fell directly onto a client's Sun in the 5th House. Her daughter was married to someone who didn't want kids. "You'll be a grandma soon!", I said. "No, my son-in-law won't change his mind"....here was definite sadness in her voice.

Within 6 months, her daughter fell in love with someone else and left her husband (life is not black and white). By the end of the year, she was pregnant. The family was just shaking their heads - that's how unexpected and fast it all was.
And just like that, my client became a grandma 🍼👶

For Those Working with Manifestation to Build Your Best Life:

Intentions set on an eclipse can manifest fast! But, they can also come into your life in an unexpected or even a turbulent way.  If you're a risk-taker, then this Full Moon is for you big time.  And if you prefer to play it safe, sit this one out. The energies of this particular eclipse are too tense for my liking, so I'm skipping this one.

And, if you decide to work with this Full Moon's energies, here are some ideas:

We're nearing the part of the Lunar Cycle when it’s time to celebrate your progress - baby steps or leaps, doesn't matter! Remember, by acknowledging and celebrating successes and any help you might have received, you're energetically aligning yourself to receive more blessings.

And, after you’ve given your thanks (and gave yourself a pat on the back, too!), it’s time to release what no longer serves you.

How To:

  1. Set aside some time within 24 hours after the Full Moon.
  1. Prepare your space. You will need to focus on your intentions. It may help to light a candle and burn some incense. A black candle is traditionally associated with removing things from your life, but a white candle will work as well.
  1. Spend a few minutes writing in your gratitude journal (or simply make a list of what you’re grateful for). This is IMPORTANT! Don't skip this step. By thanking the Universe for the good things in your life, however small, you're energetically aligning yourself to receive more blessings.
  1. Then focus on what you want to release (behaviours or circumstances that don’t serve your goals). Truly FEEL your intentions. This is also important. You need to infuse your intentions with energy. You can write your intentions on a piece of paper and burn it if you wish.

  2. Keep repeating your intentions over the next two weeks. The entire Waning Moon phase is good for releasing what no longer serves us, especially the day after the Full Moon, and a couple of days before the next New Moon.

Sample Intentions:

For this Full Moon, sample intentions might include:

“I want all blocks to financial abundance lifted from me.”

“I want any self-limiting beliefs toward prosperity gone from my life.”

“I want any self-limiting beliefs toward enjoying life gone from my life”.

“I want non-constructive resistance to change lifted from me”.

“I want to easily be able to embrace and welcome constructive change”.

“I want all fear of taking risks gone from my life.”

“I want self-defeating stubbornness lifted from me.”

To Go Deeper:

We all have the ability to draw what we desire to us, the ability to manifest the future we want. We don't always use it, because we don't know how!

We spend years in school, learning science and literature and many other subjects. Then we spend years developing skills we need for our career.

And yet, the skill to manifest the future we want? For most of us, we didn't learn it growing up - but we can certainly learn it as adults.

Join me for my 28-day "MoonManifest Challenge", that teaches you just that.

Participants Say:

I'm thrilled to be receiving this feedback:

✨ I wanted to let you know (I'm working on manifesting abundance of money)  that I received two unexpected checks in the mail today, and an unexpected deposit into my bank account.  Even though they aren't going to sustain my family in the long-term, there were a surprise, much appreciated, and a nice beginning!

✨ Since each lesson builds on the previous learnings, I really liked the progression. There were great insights along the way and tips to avoid potential pitfalls that seemed to be timed just perfectly based on the stage I was at.

- S. from Ontario, Canada

✨The course has been great so far! The details, the length, the explanation (even the music) is perfect!

- H. from Texas, USA

✨ During the New Moon, I asked for money to arrive easily and unexpectedly. And I received a modest but unexpected bonus at work.
