Astrology Forecast for February 2-8, 2026

Note: the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.
Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).
They’ll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.
♒ For Aquarius:
Several planets continue travelling very close together. If your birthday is this week, this powerhouse of energy will be locked in your Solar Return chart. One or two parts of your life will be emphasized in a big way in the 12 months ahead.
Don't forget to book your Solar Return reading, to learn how to best work with the abundance of planetary help available to you this year.
🌗 Heads-Up:
Eclipse Season is about to start. The New Moon on Feb. 17 is also a powerful Solar Eclipse! The energy will start building about a week in advance, and can become progressively more erratic and unstable. It will start fading 4-5 days after the eclipse, but by that time, Mercury will be getting ready to turn retrograde (Feb. 25).
If you need to make any major decisions, do so this week or early next week. Friday during the Opportunity Period will be a particularly auspicious time (see Feb. 6 below).
Will This Year's Eclipses Affect You?
I won't lie - eclipses can bring some serious shake-ups. I've seen it in client's lives, and I've lived through a few wild ones myself.
And there is always two common themes...two indicators that tell you whether an eclipse is going to bring major events in your life.
I'm breaking it all down in my webinar, Eclipses for the Savvy Seeker.
We'll also be covering the overall impacts of this year's eclipses, and how to decode their impact on your country.

💫 To Make the Most of This Week:
✨ Monday Feb. 2: we're still feeling the energy of the Full Moon in Leo.
Best for: Use the morning to set your intentions to release:
-
- blocks to romance (if any),
- blocks to a happy relationship with your children
- blocks to being able to freely experience joy and creativity.
- blocks to projecting a strong, authentic leadership presence.
Avoid: Important conversations. We're still feeling the Full Moon energy, so emotions can run high.
✨ Tuesday Feb. 3: Uranus turns direct. It's stationed at 27° Taurus throughout February. The energy of innovation and liberating change is high in the skies.
If you have personal planets or angles between 25-30° Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Leo or Scorpio, chances are, you're feeling this energy.
February could be the month when things can get "unstuck" for you, and you may be welcoming change into your life (or resisting, depending on your natal chart!)
Best for: starting a diet or a cleanse (the Moon is waning in Virgo). Feb. 4 is another good day for this.
✨ Wednesday Feb. 4: The Moon is still in Virgo, and Mercury is getting ready to square Uranus.
Best for: starting a diet or a cleanse.
Avoid: scheduling important meetings and sensitive conversations. Erratic communication can lead to misunderstandings and hurt feelings. (Same applies to Feb. 5)
✨ Thursday Feb. 5: Mercury squares Uranus.
Avoid: scheduling important meetings and sensitive conversations. Erratic communication can lead to misunderstandings and hurt feelings.
✨ Friday Feb. 6: Mercury moves into Pisces, for an extra-long stay.
Normally it only takes Mercury a few weeks to zip through a sign, but due to an upcoming retrograde, it will stay in Pisces until April 14. It's an excellent time for dreamers, artists and romantics.
It's also the best day of the week! The stars align into an extended Opportunity Period, from Feb. 6 9:21 a.m. to Feb. 7, 3:59 a.m. PST.
Best For:
-
- connecting with others
- building rapport
- advertising yourself.
✨ Saturday Feb. 7 and Sunday Feb. 8: Venus squares Uranus.
Best for:
-
- Giving your partner some space
Avoid:
-
- Big financial investments
- First dates (there may be a lot of attraction, but the relationship might not last).
🕰️ Moon Void of Course
Avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:
- Feb. 2, 2:55 p.m. to 7:21 p.m. PST
- Feb. 4, 11:49 p.m. to Feb. 5, 1:33 a.m. PST
- Feb. 7, 3:59 a.m. to 11:13 a.m. PST.

Thank you for your kind comment, Sulaika. I appreciate it! I staged an experiment with the void-of-course Moon a few years back, and the results were very interesting. I share them in my blog post “Moon Void of Course: True or Fiction?” Glad you’re enjoying my posts!
I like your work. You keep me on my toes after 45 years….
thank you for the V/C moon – something I learned from Deborah Kempton Smith the last 20.
Your photos are lovely and calming.
Thank you for your work.
