Astrology Forecast for June 15-21, 2026

First, a heads-up: Mercury will turn retrograde on June 29. 

Mercury Retrograde is an inauspicious time for contracts, negotiations, and buying vehicles or expensive electronic devices. So if you're planning to put your house on the market, make an offer on a home, or start a negotiation at work (as some examples), start planning around Mercury Retrograde dates: June 29–July 23.

In everyday matters — communication glitches, technology hiccups — we may start feeling Mercury Retrograde effects as early as June 21, when it enters its Storm (slowing down as it gets ready to turn retrograde).

The Sun enters Cancer on June 21. Happy Birthday to all Cancerians out there! ♋🎁🎉

Here is what to prioritize — and sidestep — in the week ahead:

• Monday and Tuesday are two of the best days of the year for love and romance! (Venus sextile Uranus and trine Neptune; Opportunity Period!)
  
  
• The Opportunity Period on Tuesday is fantastic for initiating anything you want to grow and be successful. (Times below 👇🏼).
  
  
• Sidestep Wednesday for first dates, and don't get sucked into power games in relationships (Venus-Pluto opposition).
  
  
• Thursday and Friday are the time to make a healthy change to your diet or your daily routines (Waxing Moon in Virgo).
  
  
• Mercury will start slowing down on Sunday, getting ready to turn retrograde on June 29.  Chances of communication mishaps, scheduling glitches, and technology problems will start increasing as of Sunday.

An excellent day to look for love, especially online!

• Spontaneous social plans — saying yes to an unexpected invitation.

💖✨ June 16: Venus Trine Neptune; Opportunity Period! 

If you're a big romantic at heart, this is another fantastic day for that first date.

And, the stars align into an Opportunity Period, from June 16, 1:12 p.m. to June 17, 12:41 a.m. PDT!

(If you're new to Opportunity Periods, they are the times the Moon makes positive aspects only before she enters a new sign. They are particularly supportive of specific undertakings).

This is a great Opportunity Period, on a waxing Moon in Cancer.  It's the last one before Mercury slows down before going retrograde. 

If you need to initiate something you want to get off to a strong start, now is the time. Think a first instance — such as a first date, announcing a product launch, or sending in a job application.

• Creative projects, especially music, art, or writing.
• Spiritual or healing practices.
• Acts of generosity or charity.
