Astrology Forecast for November 2–8, 2026

They'll gain strength as they approach and linger for 24–48 hours afterward, gradually fading with each passing hour.
💫 Overview of the Week:
The energies this week are excellent for cleaning up messes brought on by Mercury and Venus retrograde!
The retrogrades are still going on, though, until Nov. 13.
To make the most of this week:
- If you need to clear up any misunderstandings or miscommunication, take advantage of the Opportunity Period on Monday (details in the post 👇🏼)

Tuesday is brimming with useful planetary energies. If you need to renegotiate a financial arrangement — for example, revising existing fees or terms — take advantage of yet another Opportunity Period! It's also a great day to re-connect with an ex (details in the post 👇🏼)
On an unrelated note, if you're planning to start a diet or a cleanse, this is an excellent day! (Waning Moon in Virgo)
- On Wednesday, the Moon spends the day void of course (details in the post 👇🏼). Run errands and focus on routine tasks, but it's best not to initiate anything you want to grow and succeed.
- If you want to do some power networking, Thursday is just the thing. It features a helpful Grand Trine in Air (Moon in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius).
- The Moon is balsamic Friday to Sunday. This is inauspicious for new beginnings. What it's best for is slowing down and clearing some space — mental, physical or energetic. Declutter. Donate clothes you haven't worn in 3 years. Soak in a bath with lots of sea salt to cleanse your energy field. Get ready for fresh energies arriving with the New Moon early next week!
Opportunity Periods:
This week brings — are you ready? — two Opportunity Periods!
If you're new to them, think of an Opportunity Period as electional astrology lite. If you don't have the knowledge, time or energy to construct a full electional chart to find the best date and time to start something important, do it during an Opportunity Period.
It's not as precise as an electional chart, but it'll help.
Even with Venus and Mercury in retrograde, Opportunity Periods still have a lot to offer, but they are best suited to working on your ongoing projects and all things “re” (review, replan, redo, re-communicate and so on).

This Opportunity Period features a waning Moon in Leo forming a lovely conjunction to Jupiter and a sextile to Venus Retrograde in Libra.

The Moon is now in Virgo, making a sextile to Mercury Retrograde and the Sun. Venus Retrograde is forming a sextile to Jupiter — nice! — and the Sun is conjunct Mercury Retrograde!
