Astrology Forecast for September 15 - 21, 2025

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.  

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour. 

This Week: Executive Summary 🙂

This week leads to the second and last eclipse of this Eclipse Season, on Sept. 21.  Eclipse energies are energizing but also erratic.  Your emotions can be super-sized. 

Don't burn any bridges (you may regret it after the eclipse).  And if you need to make a major decision, make it early in the week or wait until Sept. 28.  Decisions made on an eclipse often need to be revisited later, because not all of the information you need is available to you just yet. 

Besides, Mercury enters Libra on Sept. 18, which can bring a bout of indecisiveness. 

To get the most of this week's energies:

• If you need to clarify relationship issues and sensitive topics in relationships, take advantage of the supportive energies early in the week.
  
  
• Monday Sept. 15 is also an excellent day for romantic matters. 
  
  
• Watch out for scammers and untruths mid-week.
  
  
• Do some deep physical and emotional decluttering on the Balsamic Moon (see Astro-Happenings below).
  
  
• If something in your life is stalled and is not moving forward no matter how hard you try, set your intentions to improve that area on the Solar Eclipse on Sept. 21.  But, only if you're a risk-taker at heart....

If You're Working with the Lunar Cycle for Manifestation... 

This week is a lead-up to a very powerful Solar Eclipse on Sept. 21. You may feel edgier than usual, especially if you're an empath.  Practice self-care and grounding. 

It's a powerful week to do some deep emotional or physical decluttering.  

And, if something in your life just can't seem to get traction, setting intentions on an eclipse can get you unstuck fast. 

But, what you desire can also come in an unexpected or even turbulent way.  (Having said all that, I worked with eclipses all the time when I was younger, and was amazed at the results.  Now that I'm older and have too much to lose, I don't want to take the risk and I set them out).

If your birthday falls on September 19-23, the next 12 months could bring some unexpected twists and turns.  Don't fight them.  The Universe is redirecting you onto the path that is for your greatest good.

The eclipse energies are starting to come in... It's a very powerful time to do some emotional or physical decluttering.

In other news, Mercury moves into Libra today.  In relationships, focus on understanding the other person's needs.  Mercury will stay in Libra until October 6. 

✨  September 19:  Mercury trine Uranus and Pluto, Venus enters Virgo.

Wow!  Deep insights and breakthroughs are possible over the next couple of days.  Fantastic for research and cognitive therapy.  

Venus, the planet of love and money, moves into Virgo today.  It's another "clean-up" nudge from the Universe:  clean up your relationships and financial matters.  Venus will stay in Virgo until October 13.

✨  September 21, 12:54 p.m. PDT:  New Moon/Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo

This New Moon is also a powerful Solar Eclipse! 

The geometry of this eclipse is truly spectacular.  It opposes Saturn in Pisces and Neptune in Aries.  It also trines Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius.  In other words, it forms a very powerful energy pattern - a Kite - highlighting " a chapter closes and a new one begins" energy of the second half of 2025.
