Astrology Forecast for September 22-28, 2025

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.  

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour. 

This Week: Executive Summary 🙂

The Sun enters Libra on September 22.  Happy Birthday to my Libra readers! 

Libra Season starts on a powerful note.  The Sun in Libra and the eclipse we just had on Sept. 21 activate this year's much-awaited energy pattern - the Minor Triangle.  You can read more about it here. 

Mars changes signs this week too, entering Scorpio on September 22.   And it immediately gets in trouble....

And, the destabilizing yet invigorating eclipse energy will still be felt until mid-week.  

To get the most of this week's energies:

• Stay out of power games early to mid-week.  Mars will be butting heads with Pluto, so people may get more competitive or cut-throat.  Schedule important meetings and make pitches on Thursday and Friday instead.  
  
  
• Sensitivity to alcohol and drugs (including prescription drugs) can be heightened on Tuesday.  Stay within safe limits. 
  
  
• But, Tuesday brings some amazing energies too! The Sun forms a Grand Trine with Uranus and Pluto. It's a powerful energy of life-changing synchronicities and flashes of insight, especially if your birthday is this week. 
  
  
• If you have something important to start or do, try to schedule it during the Opportunity Period (see Astro-Happenings below).  Opportunity Periods nudge probabilities into our favour 😉

There is a Grand Trine in the skies this week!  The Sun in Libra trines Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini.  Wow!!!  If your birthday is Sept.  18 - 23, this hugely beneficial aspect of massive change will get locked in your Solar Return chart. 

Neptune will be in an opposition to your natal Sun, so that part could be a mixed blessing...

And!  The eclipse we just had on Sept. 21 fell close to your Sun, reinforcing the energy of major change. If the next 12 months brings some unexpected twists and turns, don't fight them.  It's the Universe redirecting you onto the path that is for your greatest good.

As for Mars, he is strong in Scorpio.  Think determination + passion = results.  Over the next 6 weeks, give your projects that one final push. But, don't get sucked into power games, especially this week! See Sept. 24.   

Mars will stay in Scorpio until November 4. 

✨  September 23:  the Sun opposite Neptune and trine Uranus and Pluto

Wow, wow, and wow!  This is a VERY powerful aspect.  Life-changing synchronicities and powerful insights are possible today, especially if your birthday is this week. 

But, a quick caution:  be careful with prescription drugs (and drugs overall) and alcohol today. The Sun-Neptune opposition makes us super-sensitive to mind-altering substances and drugs.  Stay within safe limits. 

✨  September 24: Mars square Pluto;  Opportunity Period:  Sept. 24, 4:56 a.m. to Sept. 26, 10:44 a.m. PDT

The energy of power struggles peaks early in the day, but we will still feel it until the weekend. 

Now, the long Opportunity Period is quite lovely! The eclipse energies are fading, and the waxing Moon in Scorpio gets along beautifully with Venus in Virgo and Jupiter in Cancer.

Send out that resume.  Approach the cutie you've been eyeing at the gym. Whatever you do, don't spend the Opportunity Period doing laundry, watching TV, or answering unimportant emails!

Opportunity Periods are the times when the Moon makes positive aspects only before she leaves the sign she is in.  And that is helpful for initiating new things that you want to succeed.
