Weekly Astrology Reports Will Return on Aug. 23.

Full Moon in Aquarius: July 2026

Full Moon at 6° Aquarius: July 29, 2026 at 7:36 a.m. PDT

You can have the perfect astrological timing...and still miss the opportunity. Because timing only works if you're ready to receive what the cosmos is offering.

I've seen people move through incredibly supportive transits—and nothing changes. Not because the astrology isn't working, but because old fears or patterns are still running the show.

One client, with a Sun–Pluto square, once turned down a genuinely beautiful relationship opportunity during a Jupiter transit to her 7th House. Her fear of abandonment took over.

That's why I talk so much about the Lunar Cycle!

🌑🌕

Get yourself into a habit of pausing at every New and Full Moon, consciously reviewing your life for what you want to bring in, and what you want to let go of — and setting an intention for that (or two, or three).

And this Full Moon? It's particularly potent for clearing the shadow side of Aquarius.

Both Leo and Aquarius are fixed signs = they can be stubborn and resistant to change! That's the quality they share.

But, like it or not, change is a constant we're all going to experience in life, some of us more than others. We all need to be able to deal with it. There would be no progress without change.

And so this Full Moon is great for releasing unhelpful stubbornness.

If you tend to be a loner, this is a fantastic Full Moon to release self-defeating fear of closeness, and the compulsion "to go it alone." Yes, you could...but why? Because you're afraid of merging with another so completely that you'll lose your famous Aquarian independence?

Why not ask the Universe for relationships that honour both your need for deep connection AND your equally valid need for independence?

You're not limited to releasing the behaviors associated with the shadow side of Aquarius. Any unhelpful tendencies you want to be freed of are fair game. But, intentions linked to the astrological sign the Moon is in – Aquarius in this case – get an extra boost.

How To:

  1. Set your intentions within 24 hours following the Full Moon.
  2. Prepare your space. You will need to focus on your intentions. It may help to light a candle and burn some incense. A black candle is traditionally associated with removing things from your life, but a white candle will work as well.

  3. Spend a few minutes writing in your gratitude journal (or simply make a list of what you're grateful for). This is IMPORTANT! Don't skip this step. By thanking the Universe for the good things in your life, however small, you're energetically aligning yourself to receive more blessings.
  4. Then focus on what you want to release (behaviors or circumstances that don't serve your goals). Truly FEEL your intentions. This is also important. You need to infuse your intentions with energy. You WANT to be fully participating in life, embracing it with ease and joy, instead of feeling like you're an observer, looking in from the sidelines.

You can write your intentions on a piece of paper and burn it if you wish.
  5. Keep repeating your intentions over the next two weeks. Then, at the next New Moon (Aug. 12), make intentions for new beginnings. Replace what no longer serves you with what you want to attract: that's the base principle of working with the ongoing renewal cycle of the lunar energies.

A quick note about the New Moon on August 12 - it's also a powerful Solar Eclipse. Set your intentions only if you're comfortable with risk. What you desire can manifest fast, but there can be some twists and turns on the way.

Sample Intentions:

For this Full Moon in Aquarius, sample intentions might include:

"I want all self-defeating fears of intimacy to be lifted from me."

"I want the habit of isolating aloofness to be lifted from me."

"I will no longer be afraid of being hurt if I allow myself to experience strong emotions and attachment to a romantic partner."

"I want all tendencies towards self-sabotaging stubbornness to be gone from my life."

"I want non-constructive tendencies to rebel or be contrarian to be lifted from me."
