Weekly Forecast for April 28 - May 4, 2025

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.  

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour.

First of all, I wanted to share with you the beauty of April in Vancouver, Canada!  Magnolias and cherry blossoms and glorious sunshine....this photo of magnolias is from my neighbourhood, as I walk to pick up my daughter from school.

And now on to the astro-forecast.

After last week's challenging Pluto connections, this week brings upbeat, social energies - and one of the best days of the year for love and romance.  Venus enters Aries, retracing some of the Zodiac degrees she went through while retrograde.

And, Pluto turns retrograde.  It's a subtle energy shift, but, if your Sun, Moon, personal planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, IC and MC) are between 1-5° Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio, it will be significant for you personally.  2025 might bring an opportunity for a powerful pivot in your life. 

Here are the main astro-happenings of this week:

✨  April 29-30:  Waxing Moon in Gemini

This social Moon is restless! It can be difficult to get a good night's sleep.  Turn off your electronic devices at least an hour before bedtime.  Take a bath with lavender bath salts, or do some relaxing yoga before bed. 

✨  April 30:  Venus Re-enters Aries

✨  May 2:  Venus conjunct Neptune; Opportunity Period!  (from May 2 6:38 a.m. to May 3 1:02 a.m. PDT)

An excellent day for a romantic date.  Just make sure you stay realistic about your relationship, as Neptune is not the best for seeing things clearly.  But oh, the romantic vibe it brings!  If you're single, call in a soulmate relationship.

Opportunity Periods are those special times in the Lunar Cycle when the Moon makes positive aspects only before she leaves the sign she is in.  And this Opportunity Period is particularly good for romance and family matters.  If you're not planning a romantic date, how about a nice, cozy family dinner with your loved ones? 

✨  May 4:  Pluto Turns Retrograde.

How is your relationship with personal power?  Is there an area in your life where you feel disempowered? If yes, why? Most importantly, what are you doing about it? This is your cosmic reminder:  don't give your power away!

Pluto will stay in retrograde until October 13, 2025. If your Sun, Moon, personal planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, IC and MC) are between 1-5° Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio, 2025 might bring an opportunity for a powerful pivot in your life.  If that's you, this would be an excellent year to get a reading.
