Weekly Forecast for May 19-25, 2025

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour.

Another major astro-event of 2025 happens this week:  Saturn temporarily enters Aries on May 24, and starts forming a conjunction with Neptune, already in Aries.  It's part of the significant energy shift we're going through this year, that will fully bloom in 2026.

And, the Sun enters Gemini on May 20 at 11:55 a.m. PDT.  Happy Birthday to my Gemini readers!

If you have a few to-do items you're just not getting to, Monday-Thursday all provide excellent energies to push your lingering tasks and projects over the finish line.

The Moon is Balsamic as of May 23 8:02 p.m.. PDT, so the weekend is not the best time for starting anything new.  Recharge.  Get an extra hour of sleep if you can.   Journal.   If you need to say "no" to overcommitment, your resolve will be strengthened on May 23-25, when the Sun trines Pluto.

This week also brings a treat for love matters:  a Venus-Mars trine! If great chemistry is important to you in a relationship, plan that first date for May 21 or 22.  The passionate energy of the trine will get imprinted onto your relationship going forward.

If You're Working with the Lunar Cycle for Manifestation...

...this week is a powerful time for a "retrospective" - reviewing your progress toward the intentions you set on the last New Moon or two.  If there is no progress, do you need to do something differently going forward?

One of my intentions was for an improved relationship with my brother. It deteriorated to the point of a birthday text once a year, and I feel I'm ready for healing and to mend bridges.

About a month after I set the intention, the Universe served me a perfect opening. I forgot to text him for his birthday, for the first time in 32 years!! In a panic, I picked up the phone and called him.  We had a lovely, cordial conversation.

So...this is my "retrospective"... I didn't uphold my part of the bargain and didn't keep the momentum going.  Well, that's the beauty of working with the Lunar Cycle! I can reaffirm my intention and start again on the next New Moon.

Here are the main astro-happenings of this week:

✨  May 20:  the Sun sextile Saturn; Sun enters Gemini

The Sun-Saturn sextile is helpful for pushing your projects over the finish line.  And, Happy Birthday to my Gemini readers!

Read my suggestions on how to tap into Gemini Season energy here.

✨  May 21-22:  Waning Moon in Pisces

This is a deeply spiritual Moon.  Go for a Tarot reading. Meditate. Journal.

✨  May 22-23:  Venus trine Mars

Ooh la la! If great chemistry is important to you in a relationship, plan that first date for May 21 or 22.  The passionate energy of the trine will get imprinted onto your relationship going forward.

If you're already hitched, it's an excellent couple of days to book that date night, just the two of you!

This energy is not just for lovers.  It's the energy of passion, so if you have a hobby or a pursuit that stirs your soul, carve out some time to follow your passions.

✨   May 22 12:15 p.m. to May 24 4:44 a.m. PDT: Opportunity Period!

This Opportunity Period overlaps with Balsamic Moon (below), so it's best to focus on projects and tasks already in progress. The Moon is very well positioned in Aries during this Opportunity Period, helping you complete your tasks in record time.

What are Opportunity Periods?  I teach about astrological timing, including Opportunity Periods and many other helpful techniques in my course, MoonManifest.

✨  May 23 8:02 p.m.. PDT to May 26 8:02 p.m. PDT:  Balsamic Moon

Inauspicious time for starting new projects. Work on replenishing your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy instead.

✨   May 24: the Sun trine Pluto;  Mercury conjunct Uranus; Saturn enters Aries

If you need to say "no" to overcommitments, your resolve will be strengthened on May 23-24.  And, have a brainstorming session, either at work or on your own! You just might find unexpected solutions to stubborn problems.

✨   May 25:  Mercury enters Gemini and sextiles Saturn

With Saturn freshly in Aries and the New Moon coming up on May 26, the weekend is an excellent time to give some thought to your goals.  We're at the start of a new thirty-year cycle.  Brainstorm everything you want to accomplish and write it down. And then, pick one or two goals to set intentions for on the New Moon in Gemini.

Moon Void of Course:

So What Happens When You Start Working with the Lunar Cycle?

...Life can flow with greater ease ☮️

This is how Irene, who took my course MoonManifest, described it:

“I still can’t believe it. Truly, I’ve been talking about moving/buying a house for decades but never felt it was within my reach.

And here I am now, in my new home!

Nothing dropped in my lap, but rather than having to walk the whole way, a moving walkway appeared at just the right moments to help me over some challenging spots. From now on I’m going to work WITH the Universe!”

A moving walkway... could you use one in your life? MoonManifest starts on May 21! Hurry to secure your spot before they are all gone.

See you in the course!
