Venus - the planet of love, money and personal values – goes retrograde on December 19, at 26° Capricorn. It will turn direct again on Jan. 29 2022.

This retrograde will bring Venus into an unusually long close alignment with Pluto, from Dec. 10 to Dec. 29. Karmic relationships can resurface in your life. And, for those who went through a particularly painful breakup, closure can finally be gained. 

It's not just about love though. It's also about finances, personal values, beauty procedures and self-care. 

The first 3 weeks of November have some bumps, but they also bring some very auspicious energies if you need that one final push to work on something. Mars, Mercury and the Sun will all be in Scorpio.  

The eclipse season kicks off with the Lunar Eclipse on Nov. 19 - the first in a series of Taurus-Scorpio eclipses. 

Venus moves into Capricorn, which - together with Mars in Scorpio - is a great energy for career or business. And for finding a long-term romantic partner! 

The New Moon in Scorpio is a big highlight. If you're looking to boost your determination or resilience (physical or mental), to bring more passion into your life, or to work on those deep-seated beliefs that might be blocking you, circle Nov. 4 (Pacific Time) on your calendar!

Saturn used to be the "bad guy" - the greater malefic - in astrology. A couple of centuries ago, an astrologer would have forecast some verrrry unpleasant things for you when Saturn visited your natal chart.

Thankfully, we have progressed since then from a deterministic view of astrology to the belief (which I share) that we have the power to work with the energies coming into our life.

So is Saturn a friend or a foe? Well....it's up to you!

Mercury Retrograde can bring annoying technology glitches, delayed or cancelled travel plans and appointments, and  frustrating miscommunication.  And….it also has a huge silver lining. It’s the best time of the year for all things “re”: re-do, re-plan, re-write (or edit), re-connect, repair, reflect.  

This Mercury Retrograde is in Libra, making it an ideal time to reconnect with your partner (pre-schedule some fun date nights if you can!); to re-balance your own needs and the needs of those around you; and to reflect on your view of fairness.

September offers us quite a few gifts. A Grand Trine in Earth, active until Sept. 16, brings the energy of vitality, practical sense and productivity. The Air energy is also strong: collaborate and build your networks, especially online. But, with Mercury turning retrograde on Sept. 26, we're heading into the thick of this year's retrograde season...

Uranus, the planet of freedom, change and the unexpected, turns retrograde on August 19, at 14 degrees Taurus. It goes direct again on Jan. 18 2022, at 10 degrees of Taurus. It`s time to review how you respond to changes in your life, and what personal freedom means to you.

Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Virgo and Capricorn - there may be changes heading your way.

We are all conscious co-creators of our life. Yes, there will be times when bad things happen to some very good people....but we also have the power to co-direct our life path to manifest our highest potential. I say "co-create" and "co-direct" because our partner - our amazingly powerful partner - is the Universe. 

The Moon cycle is a great way to connect with the cosmic energies and to start manifesting what you desire in your life.  

August is another month that starts with some tense energies, but then the “planetary weather” improves quite a bit. The Sun, Mercury and Venus will all be in their own signs for a portion of August, so their powers are strengthened. We will have many harmonious planetary connections in Earth through the month.
