Astrology Forecast for January 19-25, 2026

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).

They’ll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.

💫 To Make the Most of This Week:

January is a very active month astrologically. So many connections between the planets! This promises an eventful month for the world. And this week is no different.

This week, the Sun, Mercury and Mars all move into Aquarius. Happy Birthday to my Aquarius readers! ♒💖

In your personal life, check out which House is in Aquarius in your natal chart. That's the area that may be receiving a lot of emphasis over the next couple of weeks.

A Note for Capricorn and Aquarius:

Several planets stay very close together in January. If your birthday is this month, this powerhouse of energy will be locked in your Solar Return chart.  One or two parts of your life will be emphasized in a big way in the 12 months ahead.

Back to this week.

As the planets enter Aquarius, they make conjunctions with Pluto.  It's a very powerful energy, helpful for setting boundaries or projecting a powerful presence.

But, it's also the week to avoid power games and manipulative individuals.

And here is the breakdown of this week's energies:

  • Monday Jan. 19 is a great day for artists and writers, and for charitable pursuits (Mercury trine Uranus; the Sun sextile Neptune).

If you're single, it's also a good day to keep an eye out for your soulmate (Venus conjunct Pluto). For couples, passions can run high today. But, stay out of power games.

  • Tuesday Jan. 20 is great for work, career and business matters (Mars trine Uranus and sextile Saturn; Mercury sextile Neptune). Roll up your sleeves and tackle any major projects. You will be able to get into the zone quickly and time will fly by.

  • Wednesday and Thursday - Jan. 21 and 22 - are best for intellectual pursuits, research, catching up on emails and marketing yourself (the Sun conjunct Mercury, Mercury conjunct Pluto, Mars sextile Neptune).

But, avoid power games and manipulative individuals.

  • Friday Jan. 23 is a powerful day! The Sun-Pluto conjunction today helps to project a powerful, confident, assured image - and that can make it easier to impress bosses and VIPs. So don't be shy about putting yourself out there.

  • You may feel running short on patience on the weekend (January 24/25). Let small annoyances go.

People can be easily triggered on Sunday, so avoid making plans with difficult or emotionally volatile people  (the Moon in Aries on Jan. 24, the Moon makes several challenging connections on Jan. 25).
