Saturn-Neptune Conjunction And You

"Do you think there is still a chance he'll get in touch?", she asked me.  Several time zones and hundreds of miles apart, connected via Zoom, I could feel her bewilderment and longing.

She took the time to learn what he needed.  To support him through a challenging stretch. A year into the relationship, he disappeared, without as much as a call or a text.

I was starting at her natal chart, steeling myself to tell her what I saw.  "No, I don't think he will. This is your reality check.  He may not be the man you thought he was".

Saturn and Neptune, getting ready to form a conjunction, were just a couple of degrees away from her natal Sun.  Disillusionment. Facing the stark reality.

Saturn and Neptune have been dancing close together since April 2025.  Maybe in the past 9 months you’ve felt that same hollow silence after giving your all.  Feeling dejected.  Burned out. Beyond disappointed.

If yes, keep reading.... you've got through the darkest part, but don't miss Act 2 of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction!

But First, a Quick Primer:  What is the Saturn-Neptune Conjunction All About?

First of all, Saturn and Neptune only come together in a conjunction every 36 years.  And because they are such unlikely partners, it can be difficult to figure out how to deal with it.

Saturn is about boundaries and reality. Neptune is about dreams, illusions, and dissolving boundaries. When they meet, things can get a little foggy. You might find yourself questioning what’s real, what’s possible, and what’s just wishful thinking. It’s a time when practical concerns and spiritual longings collide.

Think: “Am I building castles in the sky, or am I finally ready to make my dreams real?” The answer might be...both!

(BTW it's also can be a very impactful energy for the world affairs.  You can read about it in my post here).

Saturn and Neptune, Act 1:  Reality Check

"I've been reading your chart for many years.  At this point, I think of you as a friend," I said.  "It might not be just about this guy.  I think there is a pattern in your relationships..."

She was born with her Sun, Saturn and Neptune all tangled up in a T-Square, giving her great compassion, understanding, and the ability to forgive.  But, she also wanted her dream of a happy relationship so badly (who doesn't!), that she tended to go in too quickly and give too much.

It wasn't just about that one guy.  People have disappeared from her life before, in a similar fashion.  Betrayal (Neptune gone bad...☹️) And now the ghosting and disappearing act (Neptune still acting badly).  Her heart broken over and over.

"You've been telling me this for a while", she said.  "That I don't need to go in so fast, and give so much right away. I need to wait for a person who will appreciate what I have to offer. Who will cherish me and adore me".

Yes! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Because you know what?

Saturn and Neptune, Act 2:  The Power to Build New Reality

At its worst, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction can bring a majorly disillusioning moment.  Deceit and underhandedness can be at play, too 😞 Think of people abdicating responsibility, being ghosted, and feeling betrayed by those you trusted.

The ache of unanswered messages.  The co-worker you trusted undercutting you and getting the promotion you were eyeing.  Feeling like a hamster on a wheel, running and running and running and not accomplishing anything to hang your hat on.  Housing unaffordability staring you in the face.  The sting of making your peace with getting older (oh wait! that's me! 😀)

Yes, Saturn and Neptune can strip away illusions. But, as you push through the layers of disappointment, the reality of your life starts to come into focus again - and it's better and brighter than what seemed just a while ago. A new way of looking at life.  A new you.  A new path in your life.

When it is at its best, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction is a huge manifestor aspect.  If it connects with your natal chart and you consciously work with its energy, you will have an amazing opportunity to bring your dreams (Neptune) into reality (Saturn).  It's a powerful combo!

Another client of mine resigned from a soul-sucking job under the Saturn-Neptune conjunction blooming on top of her progressed MC - and landed a big promotion!

Yet another brave soul kicked out her husband, who she caught cheating on her, and is busy exploring life and new opportunities.  "Yes, it's scary to start again, but I choose to believe that the future is full of new, delicious opportunities" 💖

What Does This Mean for You?

If your Sun, personal planets, or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, MC or IC) are in the following signs and degrees of the Zodiac, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction will be impactful for you:

  • 27° Pisces - 4° Aries
  • 27° Gemini - 4° Cancer
  • 27° Virgo - 4° Libra
  • 27° Sagittarius - 4° Capricorn

If this is you, this is a good year to schedule a reading.

You may experience disillusionment or a reality check in 2025-2026.  Something is not where you need it to be, and you now have two options: to accept what you have as your reality, or to transform it into something new.

Remember, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction is a rare and powerful energy.  How we choose to ride it is up to us!  It's a huge cosmic invitation to choose - and remake - your current reality.

Are you up for it?  I'm cheering for you big time!
