Astrology forecast for July 28 - August 3, 2025

This Week: Executive Summary 😉
Mercury is still retrograde this week...save signing contracts, conducting negotiations, and starting an e-commerce business until Mercury resumes direct motion on August 11 (Pacific to Eastern time).
No, I'm not saying this to fear-monger...it's based on the principles of electional astrology - the art of selecting the best date to position your important endeavors for success. The planet ruling the matter needs to be direct.
Of course, it's not always possible to plan our life according to astrology. If you absolutely must sign a legal document when Mercury is retrograde, read the fine print.
Another longer-term astro-event of this week is Venus entering home-loving Cancer on July 30. Over the next 4 weeks, do something that makes your home feel like a beautiful, welcoming sanctuary. And, do your best to avoid sweets! Venus will stay in Cancer until August 25.
To make the best of this week's energies:
- Make a health-oriented change to your diet or daily routine on Monday. It's also a great day for healing romantic wounds.
- Sit out a lengthy Moon void-of-course period mid-week (see "Moon Void of Course" below)
- Don't plan a first date or an important romantic event Tuesday to Saturday
- Go wild and indulge your sense of adventure on Sunday!

You may feel a heightened desire to splurge on beauty or comfort items for your home. Maybe it's about getting some plush bath towels. Or adding a cozy yet stylish blanket to your deck. Or cooking yourself nutritious, healthy meals.
Cancerian energy is about roots, security and nurturing – and our home is an active partner in creating that safe heaven in our life. We create our home, and in turn it develops its own energy that (ideally) supports and nourishes us. Houses aren't just piles of inanimate bricks and mortar!
