Astrology Forecast for June 29-July 5, 2026

Note: Dates and times in this forecast are given in Pacific Time (PDT). If you're in a different time zone, please adjust accordingly — for some time zones, this may mean a different day entirely.
Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we'll feel the energies 24–72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).
They'll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.
💫 To Make the Most of This Week:
June ends with a bang! Mercury turns retrograde and Jupiter enters Leo on June 29. That very same day, the Full Moon in Capricorn lights up the sky.
Jupiter changes signs every year, and it's always something to look forward to. Opportunities and expansion shift to different sectors of the economy and different areas of our personal lives. Read all about Jupiter in Leo here.
And Mercury Retrograde...well...we get it at least 3 times a year, so we might as well go with the flow 😊 Just in case though, read the fine print if you absolutely must sign an important document during Mercury Retrograde, check the distribution list of sensitive emails before hitting Send, and give yourself plenty of time to get to important appointments.
Mercury will turn direct on July 23.
Here is what to prioritize — and sidestep — in the week ahead:
- Be on guard for Mercury Retrograde-related mishaps until mid-week. They tend to peak in the days right before and after Mercury changes direction. (Mercury turns retrograde on June 29).
- If you're struggling with work-life balance, suffering from the impostor syndrome, or feel anxious about getting older, work with the energy of the Full Moon in Capricorn on Monday or Tuesday.
-
Wednesday is great for socializing, but grumpy energies will start setting in as the day goes on (Moon in Aquarius makes mixed aspects).
-
Thursday and Friday can be accident-prone days. Drive safely and be careful with electric appliances (Mars conjunct Uranus).
- Saturday and Sunday bring an extended Opportunity Period! More details below. 👇🏼
💫 Key Astro-Events:
Now let's take a look at the astro-events this week:
✨ June 29: Jupiter Enters Leo, Mercury Turns Retrograde + Full Moon in Capricorn.
Wow, what a day!
If I were to pick one thing to work with today, it would be the Full Moon — and since it's in career-oriented, ambitious Capricorn, it's a great time to set intentions to:
- balance work and family
- release fears of incompetence, especially at work
- release fears of getting older
✨ July 1: Moon in Aquarius Makes Mixed Aspects
Happy Canada Day to my Canadian readers! 🍁 The day starts on a vibrant, positive note, but ends with a tough Moon-Pluto conjunction.
Best For:
- Socializing and attending group events (nice!)
Avoid:
- Getting sucked into fights, disagreements and power games later in the day. If you see people getting unruly, wrap your Canada Day party early.
⚠️ July 2-3: Mars Conjunct Uranus
This is an accident-prone energy. And, the Moon slips into a lengthy void-of-course: July 3, 10:27 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. PDT.
Avoid:
- Distracted driving - it's always a prudent caution, but especially when Mars makes tense aspects with Uranus
- Ignoring safety instructions for electric appliances.
- Starting anything new that you want to grow and bring results - specifically during the Moon void-of-course period.
✨ July 4-5: Mars Sextile Neptune, Mars trine Pluto aaaaand.....an Opportunity Period!
How nice for the Independence Day in the USA!
The Opportunity Period starts on July 4, 7:26 a.m. and ends on July 5, 10:21 p.m. PDT. If you're new to Opportunity Periods, think of them as "electional astrology lite". If you don't have time or knowledge to build a full electional chart, an Opportunity Period is your next best option for timing something important.
Best For:
- Spiritual or artistic pursuits,
- Charitable work
- Standing up for your beliefs with courage AND compassion.
🕰️ Moon Void of Course
And here is a quick summary of the void-of-course times this week. Avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:
- July 1, 4:51 a.m. to 12:33 p.m. PDT
- July 3, 10:27 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. PDT - this is a long one. Pay attention!
- July 5, 10:21 p.m. to July 6, 8:07 a.m. PDT
