Astrology Forecast for September 28–October 4, 2026

💫 To Make the Most of This Week:

This week starts on a high note, but the energies get more challenging by the weekend.

Early in the week, we still feel the powerful Grand Trine in Air between the Sun, Pluto and Uranus. The energies of the planets merge and enhance one another. Uranus-Pluto trines are rare! In case you're new to my blog, a quick refresher – we had the last series of Uranus-Pluto trines in 1921–1922.

It's the energy of major breakthroughs and beneficial change.

There are also more challenging energies facing us this week. By mid-week, Mercury, Mars and Pluto lock horns in a challenging T-Square.

Venus turns retrograde on October 3. I share more details on this year's Venus Retrograde + the upcoming Mercury Retrograde here. (Yes, October has a loooot of retrograde energy 😕)

And a tough Sun-Saturn opposition arrives on October 4.

But, as always, this week brings some celestial goodness, too!

Here is what to prioritize and what to sidestep this week:

• Monday is fantastic for brainstorming sessions at work and trying something new in your personal life (Sun trine Uranus).
  
  
• Tuesday and Wednesday are two good days for therapy or coaching sessions. Deep healing and breakthroughs are possible (Mercury opposite Chiron; Mercury enters Scorpio on Sept. 30).
  
  
• Wednesday/Thursday bring an Opportunity Period! It's fantastic for networking, everything related to communication – bloggers and writers, pay attention – and for socializing (details below 👇🏼).
  
  
• Don't pick any fights on Friday and Saturday, unless you're sure you can win. Stay away from dark places and emotionally volatile people. (Mercury, Mars and Pluto lock horns in a T-square).
  
  
• The Moon enters a lengthy void-of-course from Saturday morning to mid-Sunday (details below 👇🏼). The weekend is better for running errands - or relaxing! - then for launching anything big and important. 
  
  
• Sunday can bring melancholy vibes. Ride them out – they will be gone early next week (Sun opposite Saturn).

SEPTEMBER 24–28: Grand Trine in Air + Full Moon Kite Pattern

This energy carries over from last week:  the Sun, Pluto, and Uranus form a powerful Grand Trine in Air.

It's an incredible few days filled with potential for deep breakthroughs, especially for Libra, Aquarius, Gemini, and Aries.

Best for:

✅ Working on ingrained thought patterns that are holding you back
✅ Having a courageous conversation and setting a healthy boundary
✅ Projecting a powerful presence at work (book a meeting with your boss and pitch your big idea!)
✅ Brainstorming innovative solutions, especially for business or technology
✅ Making a decisive change to your image, message, or personal brand. If you're a people pleaser, it's a powerful few days to break out of that pattern.
✅ Launching a project involving technology, energy production, or energy distribution
✅ Launching a project that challenges the status quo or introduces a new way of doing things

SEPTEMBER 30: Mercury Enters Scorpio ♏

Mercury will stay in Scorpio for an unusually long period of time, until Dec. 6. Yes, you guessed it – Mercury will be turning retrograde on October 24 😕

There is a big silver lining. Mercury in Scorpio is fantastic for shadow work, and that deeply introspective quality is enhanced when Mercury is retrograde.

So whip out your birth chart and look at your squares and oppositions. These are the areas where we experience inner tension. When unrecognized, they can bring on a repeated pattern of external events. We just haven’t fully mastered our lessons…yet.

The last 3 days of the week are packed astrologically, and unfortunately, not in a good way. Mercury, Mars and Pluto all butt heads, and Mars doesn't want to fight fair, either.

⚠️ Power struggles and heated conversations – they can turn bitter.
