Astrology Forecast for September 8-14, 2025

Photo:  the nights are starting to get cooler! Sharing the last of my summer with you. 

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.  

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours in advance of the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).  They will be gaining in strength as they approach the date.  We will also feel them for 24-48 hours after, but they will be losing strength with each passing hour. 

This Week: Executive Summary 

To get the most of this week's energies:

• Remember that the edgy energy of the Lunar Eclipse we had on Sept. 7 can still be felt until mid-week.  Practice self-care and don't get surprised if your sleep is disrupted or if you feel emotional swings.  Don't burn bridges (eclipses can bring oversized emotions).  
  
  
• Later in the week, take advantage of great energies for contracts, negotiations, important presentations, and other Mercury-related pursuits - especially if it's something you've started pre-eclipses and are now driving to completion. 
  
  
• And, it's not just about contracts and negotiations! the Sun makes a lucky sextile to Jupiter on Friday Sept. 12.  On Thursday and Friday, the skies are brimming with opportunities. 

The erratic energies of the eclipse season will start picking up again mid-next week, leading to a super powerful Solar Eclipse on Sept. 21.  Wow, the planetary alignments this eclipse makes! But, more on that next week.  For now, take advantage of the lull. 

If You're Working with the Lunar Cycle for Manifestation... 

As mentioned, we're still feeling the energy of the Lunar Eclipse early this week.  You may feel edgier than usual, especially if you're an empath.  Practice self-care and grounding. 

If you've done a release ritual on the Lunar Eclipse, you may feel  sudden emptiness or sadness.  If you do, it's a good thing!  Old, unreleased emotions have now come to the surface and are being lifted from you.  Be gentle with yourself this week.

Lucky you! Your Solar Return chart - your temporary chart for 12 months ahead - will feature an opportunity-filled Sun-Jupiter conjunction.  Where will the opportunities come from?  Look at the Houses (areas of life) the Sun and Jupiter are in your Solar Return chart.

✨  September 11:  The Sun and Mercury sextile Jupiter

Fantastic for finalizing negotiations or contracts, as well as following up on important presentations and proposals, especially if you do so during the Opportunity Period (see below). 

But, Jupiter aspects to the Sun tend to boost our luck in many areas, including love and career matters.

✨  September 11, 11:59 p.m. to Sept. 12, 1:14 p.m. PDT:  Opportunity Period!  

Opportunity Periods are the times when the Moon makes positive connections only before she leaves the sign she is in.  They are "electional astrology lite", highlighting the times through the week that are particularly auspicious for specific undertakings.  This is not to say that everything will work as if by magic, but.... probabilities are tipped in your favour. 

This one is good for finalizing or following up on the matters you've started prior to Sept. 2, especially if they have to do with contracts, negotiations, presentations or proposals. 

✨  September 13:  the Sun conjunct Mercury. 

A great day to catch up on emails, phone calls and texts.
