Astrology Forecast for August 24-30, 2026
Note: Dates and times in this forecast are given in Pacific Time (PDT). If you're in a different time zone, please adjust accordingly — for some time zones, this may mean a different day entirely.
Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we'll feel the energies 24–72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).
They'll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.
💫 To Make the Most of This Week:
The biggest show of the week is the Lunar Eclipse on August 27/28. Lunar Eclipses are supercharged Full Moons, and this is a very tense one! The Moon, Sun and Mercury are all squared by Uranus.
You or people around you might be unusually moody. If you're an empath, Pisces eclipses can make you too open to other people's energy, so it might be prudent to work with protective crystals, such as black tourmaline or obsidian.
📍 Is the Lunar Eclipse hitting your chart?
This week's eclipse will be most impactful for you personally if you have planets or Angles (Ascendant, Descendant, IC, or MC) in the following signs and degrees:
- 29° Leo – 9° Virgo or 29° Aquarius – 9° Pisces
- 29° Taurus – 9° Gemini or 29° Scorpio – 9° Sagittarius (to a lesser degree)
If your chart is activated, expect significant developments — often in the weeks before or after the eclipse dates.
Not sure if your chart is activated? It's a good year to book a reading and find out.
And, something to look forward to! A Jupiter-Saturn trine is building in the skies. This very beneficial alignment can bring welcome progress if it connects with your chart. This is you if you have planets or angles between 11-18° Aries, Leo or Sagittarius.
OK, OK, with no further ado… 😀
Here is what to prioritize — and sidestep — in the week ahead:
-
This entire week, don't make hasty decisions or burn bridges. You may regret it later, and it will be difficult to undo.
- The Moon slips into three lengthy void-of-course periods this week, on Monday, Wednesday to Thursday, and Friday to Saturday. Don't initiate anything you want to grow and succeed. (dates and times below 👇🏼).
-
Wednesday brings a relatively short but useful Opportunity Period. If you absolutely must initiate something new this week, this is your window (details below 👇🏼).
- If you've been putting something off, tackle it on Sunday. (Moon in Aries makes many aspects).
💫 Key Astro-Events:
AUGUST 25: Mercury Enters Virgo
Mercury is strong in its own sign, Virgo. It's our celestial nudge to:
✅ Make good use of checklists and organizers.
✅ Look at data and facts - do they support the narratives we see on the news or social media?
✅ For business owners, to review and analyze your business data.
Avoid:
⚠️ Being too nit-picky
⚠️ Getting lost in the details at the expense of the bigger picture
⚠️ Being overly critical of yourself or others
⚠️ Overthinking, or letting perfectionism slow you down
Mercury will stay in Virgo until September 10.
AUGUST 26, 2:32 a.m. to 2:59 p.m. PDT: Opportunity Period!
Good for social and community activities. But it's very close to the upcoming eclipse. Initiate anything new only if you're prepared for a wild ride.
AUGUST 27, 9:18 p.m. PDT: Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces
This is a tense eclipse. Uranus squares the Sun, the Moon, and Mercury — yet again, your news feed could be buzzing with unexpected twists and turns related to negotiations and announcements.
Avoid:
⚠️ Making rushed decisions, without doing the proper research
⚠️ Burning bridges or hastily cutting people, things or opportunities out of your life. You may regret it later, and it will be difficult to win them back.
⚠️ If you're an empath, stay away from energy vampires.
AUGUST 29: No Major Aspects or Transits
The heavens give us a day off. Use the calm skies to recharge after the tense energies we experienced earlier in the week.
AUGUST 30: Moon in Aries Makes Many Aspects
The Moon in Aries can be quick, action-oriented and impatient. I've seen calm and level-headed individuals fly off the handle when the Moon in Aries makes many aspects.
Best For:
✅ Physical activity of any kind (not just a workout — a hike, a dance class, anything that gets you moving)
✅ Tackling a task you've been putting off for a while.
Avoid:
⚠️ Getting too frustrated over minor annoyances
⚠️ Starting arguments — the Moon in Aries can make everyone a little more combative than usual
⚠️ Rushing through important tasks; speed is tempting but mistakes are likely.
🕰️ Moon Void of Course
And here is a quick summary of the void-of-course times this week. Avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:
- August 24, 2:30 a.m. to August 25, 2:02 a.m. PDT — this is a long one. Pay attention!
- August 26, 2:59 p.m. to August 27, 12:04 p.m. PDT — another long one.
- August 28, 9:14 a.m. to August 29, 7:38 p.m. PDT — a VERY long void of course period.
