Astrology Forecast for August 31 - September 6, 2026

Sunflowers in golden light — AstroLoggia weekly astrology forecast for August 31 to September 6, 2026

Note: Dates and times in this forecast are given in Pacific Time (PDT). If you're in a different time zone, please adjust accordingly — for some time zones, this may mean a different day entirely.

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we'll feel the energies 24–72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).

They'll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.

💫 To Make the Most of This Week:

I hope you made it through the eclipse season — it's been a tense one! I've done readings for a marriage gone up in flames, a sudden job loss, and a financial mishap that suddenly came to light and upended the family dynamic — all in one week. And yes, in all cases, the eclipses connected with the person's chart.

The key thing to keep in mind is this: not all endings are losses. If your life takes a sudden turn under an eclipse, it's a redirection — the Universe is pivoting you onto a path that is in your greater good.

By the time August 31 comes along, the edginess of the eclipse season will be behind us. And… behind the scenes, an amazing energy has been building!

Jupiter, now in Leo, will be making a series of supportive trines to Saturn in Aries, in 2026–2027. If this trine aligns with your natal chart, it can be so much more beneficial than a Jupiter transit on its own!

Jupiter brings opportunities, but they don't always deliver — Saturn, on the other hand, turns them into reality.

The first trine blooms this August. We'll feel it from August 14 to September 22, but it will be at its peak — most powerful on August 31, at 13° Aries/Leo.

📍Are You the Lucky Recipient?

If you have planets or Angles (Ascendant, Descendant, MC or IC) between 11–18° Leo, Aries, and Sagittarius, pay attention to this trine! It's activating your chart in a very positive way, bringing opportunities that can result in solid growth and long-term results.

Not sure if your chart is activated? It's a good year to book a reading and find out.

OK, OK, with no further ado… 😀

Here is what to prioritize — and sidestep — in the week ahead:

  • Don't initiate any fights or get too competitive on Monday and Tuesday. It can turn into a lose-lose (Mars square Saturn). On the plus side, it's a good couple of days for contracts, negotiations and presentations — as long as you stay collaborative (Mercury sextile Jupiter).

  • Wednesday brings a lengthy void-of-course period. Spend it on routine tasks and running errands (details below 👇🏼).

  • On Thursday, turn off your devices at least a couple of hours before you go to bed. The mind may be overactive, disrupting your sleep (Moon in Gemini).

  • An Opportunity Period arrives on Friday! Perfect for writers, bloggers, and anything related to communication or socializing (details below 👇🏼)

  • The weekend is great for spending some time with the family. If you're planning a family dinner or a get-together, Sunday brings particularly good energies (Moon in Cancer).

💫 Key Astro-Events:

And now for a close-up:

AUGUST 31 – SEPTEMBER 1: Mars-Saturn Square; Mercury Sextile Jupiter

While there is a strongly positive Jupiter-Saturn trine blooming in the skies, there is a more challenging energy active, too: Mars and Saturn butt heads.

This frustrating energy can make you feel like you're driving with the brakes on.

Avoid:

⚠️ Confrontation and competition — you may find yourself in a lose-lose situation.

On the plus side, Mercury sextiles lucky Jupiter. Helpful for:

Best For:

✅ Contracts, presentations and negotiations — as long as you stay collaborative, not adversarial.

SEPTEMBER 2: Moon Slips Into a Lengthy Void of Course

This is a long one: from September 2, 3:47 a.m. to September 3, 4:47 a.m. PDT.

Best For:

✅ Routine tasks and running errands

Avoid:

⚠️ Initiating anything new that you want to succeed and grow.

SEPTEMBER 3–4: Waning Moon in Gemini Makes Many Aspects

The mind can be in overdrive during these days. Go for a walk, do some gardening, or try some yoga — something that helps you stay grounded.

Best For:

✅ Learning a shortcut or a life hack.

Avoid:

⚠️ Mental overstimulation.

SEPTEMBER 4, 2:29 p.m. to SEPTEMBER 5, 1:40 a.m.: Opportunity Period!

If you're new to Opportunity Periods, think of them as electional astrology "lite". They are windows when the Moon makes only positive aspects before entering a new sign or going void of course.

Opportunity Periods aid your undertakings.  They are universal — they apply to everyone, but make sure you've converted them to your time zone.

Particularly Good for:

✅ Writing, blogging, and communication overall

✅ Socializing

🕰️ Moon Void of Course

And here is a quick summary of the void-of-course times this week. Avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:

  • August 31, 12:27 p.m. to September 1, 1:01 a.m. PDT
  • September 2, 3:47 a.m. to September 3, 4:47 a.m. PDT — it's a long one. Pay attention!
  • September 5, 1:40 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. PDT.
