Astrology Forecast for February 16-22, 2026

Note:  the dates in this forecast are for Pacific to Eastern time.

Unless I provide a specific timeframe, we’ll feel the energies 24-72 hours before the date I mention (the date when the planetary alignment is exact).

They’ll gain strength as they approach, and linger for 24–48 hours after, gradually fading with each passing hour.

 Saturn-Neptune Conjunction:

This week brings some of the biggest astro-fireworks of 2026: a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, and the unprecedented Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries.

I'm sure you've heard how impactful this conjunction is. It repeats every 36 years and throughout history, it often brought on a major paradigm shift.  In fact, there are some uncanny parallels with the previous conjunctions, in terms of ideological divides and territorial gambits. Read more here.

But the upcoming conjunction falls on the Aries Point - 0° Aries - the "great reset" degree.  After some research, it looks like we haven't experienced it at this powerful degree for at least 10 centuries going back - and, possibly, never!

The paradigm shift the world is about to go through - and it already started - may be much bigger and more impactful than anything we experienced before.

Now, if this conjunction connects with your natal chart, it can be just as impactful for your personal life.  I've already seen multiple examples of that.  It can bring disillusionment or disappointment, but the key thing to remember is this:

It's a manifestor conjunction! It gives you the ability to reimagine (Neptune) and reshape (Saturn) the reality of your life.

We're Now in the Eclipse Season:

The New Moon in February 17 is also a powerful and tense Solar Eclipse, the first in the series of Aquarius-Leo eclipses we're going to experience between now and 2028.

I've been tracking eclipses for a while, and I find that the sign they fall into and the aspects they make give us very accurate clues about new or unexpected developments the world is about to experience. After all, eclipses shake things up!

The upcoming eclipse is quite impactful for the USA - something stirs up and ignites the public.  Developments foretold by eclipses can play out early, too, so perhaps we've already seen this in the public outcry over the events in Minnesota.

On a personal level,  if you find yourself edgier than usual, it's not in your head.  Eclipses pack a powerful punch of destabilizing energy that starts building 4-5 days before the eclipse, and takes a couple of days to dissipate.

Are Eclipses Something to Worry About?

No! I've seen some amazing breakthroughs happen in people's lives when their natal chart was activated by an eclipse.

Most times, they are redirections. If you're at a crossroads and an eclipse comes along, the Universe will push you onto the path that is right for you (and not always gently 😀)

I'm breaking it all down in my mini-course, Eclipses for the Savvy Seeker.

We'll focus both on the personal impacts of an eclipse, and how eclipses can foreshadow shake-ups in a country.

💫 To Make the Most of This Week:

The week starts with a powerful yet destabilizing eclipse energy.  But good news - it will dissipate just in time for an auspicious Venus-Jupiter trine on the weekend.

And, get ready - Mercury turns retrograde next week.

✨ Monday Feb. 16: The Moon is Balsamic and we're heading into the eclipse.

Best For:

Doing an energy-clearing activity.  Here is the one I recommended last week, and you can still do it on Monday.  It will also be lots of fun if you have young kids.  Go through each room in your house and make some loud noise! Bang on a kitchen pot.  Clap your hands.  Ring a bell.  Sound can clear and break stale energy.

Be intentional!  You may wish to say something like, "I'm breaking all routines that don't serve me, and invite positive change into my life".  The upcoming New Moon/Solar Eclipse is in Aquarius, after all!

Avoid:
  • initiating new important projects
  • making major decisions (the eclipse energy is too unstable).

✨ Tuesday Feb. 17, 4:01 a.m. PST : New Moon/Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius.

Set intentions for what you want to attract into your life only if you're a risk-taker at heart!  What you ask for can come fast, but it can happen in an unexpected way, and with some "side effects".  Believe me, I'm speaking from experience...😆  This eclipse is particularly good if you need to get "unstuck" - something is stalling in your life - and you want to find a way to move forward.

If you decide to set your intentions, wait until 6:09 a.m. PST - the Moon is Void of Course until then.  Read more here.

✨  Wednesday Feb. 18:  the Sun enters Pisces.  Happy Birthday to my Pisces readers! ♓🎉🎂.

The Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus are all in Pisces, and the stars align into an Opportunity Period from Feb. 18 10:31 a.m. to Feb. 19, 7:23 a.m. PST.

Best For:

    • Creative or spiritual pursuits.  (Book a Tarot reading!)
    • Meditation, mind-body connection (such as yoga)

Avoid:

    • initiating new important projects
    • making major decisions (we're still feeling the unstable eclipse energy).

✨  Friday Feb. 20:  the era-defining Saturn-Neptune conjunction peaks today.

Best For:

    • Taking a moment to take in the monumental, paradigm-shifting energies we're experiencing this year.

As they say, history is comprised of long periods of waiting where nothing much happens, punctuated by relatively brief eras where the course of humankind is changed forever.  We're living through one of those times.

✨  Saturday Feb. 21 and Feb. 22:  the best and most productive part of the week.  It gives us a break between the two eclipses (The next one is coming March 3).  And Mercury is not retrograde yet.  That's coming, too - on Feb. 25.

But this weekend, let's not worry about that just yet.  We're treated to an auspicious Venus-Jupiter trine!

Best For:

    • Love and romance - Saturday night or Sunday are great for a first date
    • For the metaphysically inclined, charge:
      • rose quartz + citrine for luck in love matters
      • pyrite + citrine for financial luck.

    🕰️ Moon Void of Course

In addition to the eclipse cautions earlier in this post, avoid starting anything new you want to succeed during these periods:

    • Feb. 17, 4:01 a.m. to 6:09 a.m. PST
    • Feb. 19, 7:23 a.m. to 11:39 a.m. PST
    • Feb. 21, 3:11 a.m. to 3:31 p.m. PST

    Have a wonderful week!
    Daria
