Astrology Forecast for October 19-25, 2026

I've streamlined the format of my weekly forecasts.   I've kept the weekly overview, removed the section "Key Astro-Events" (I felt it was a bit repetitive), and given Opportunity Periods their own mini-section.

💫 Overview of the Week: 

It's a busy week in the skies!

The troublesome Venus-Pluto square peaks again.  It's a big feature of this Venus Retrograde - Venus and Pluto lock horns three times. This is the second of those three squares.  Jealousy, resentment, and power games in relationships can all flare up early in the week. 

The Sun enters Scorpio on October 22.  Happy Birthday to my Scorpio readers! ♏🎂

A helpful Full Moon in Taurus arrives on the weekend.  Remember how I was telling you that Venus Retrograde is not just about exes and your love life? It's also a chance to re-evaluate your finances.  And right on time, this Full Moon arrives, helping us release money blocks and unhelpful stubbornness.  

Mercury turns retrograde on October 24. 😔 It's moving very slowly this week, preparing to change direction.  Give yourself plenty of time to get to important appointments. If you must sign a legal document, read the fine print. Most importantly, keep your cool.  Mercury Retrograde can bring frustrating moments, but it’s not the end of the world. 

Aaaaand.....drumroll please.... this week also brings an Opportunity Period!  🪄✨ 

To make the most of this week:

• This entire week, be prepared for potential technology glitches, appointment snafus, and communication issues.  
  
  
• On Monday, stay out of drama and power games in relationships (Venus square Pluto).
  
  
• On Tuesday, take advantage of the Opportunity Period:  October 20, 3:49 p.m. to October 21, 1:42 a.m. PDT.   Details below 👇🏼
  
  
• Work on your art, meditate, connect with the Divine or help at your local charity on Wednesday and Thursday (waxing Moon in Pisces).
  
  
• Friday may bring an insight about love and past relationships (Sun conjunct Venus Rx).  
  
  
• Stay calm on Saturday.  The Moon is in impatient Aries, and Mercury turns retrograde.  Get a workout in or do something else that moves your body and gives all this Aries energy an outlet.  
  
  
• Set intentions to release any blocks to financial abundance with the Full Moon on Sunday: October 25, 9:12 p.m. PDT.  You don’t have to stay up late, either. Monday, October 26, will work just as well. 

Opportunity Period:

OCTOBER 20, 3:49 p.m. to OCTOBER 21, 1:42 a.m. PDT

If you're new to Opportunity Periods, think of them as “electional astrology lite.” If you don't have the knowledge, time or energy to construct a full electional chart to find the best date and time to start something important, do it during an Opportunity Period.

It's not as precise as an electional chart, but it'll help.

This Opportunity Period features a waxing Moon in Aquarius forming a trine with the Sun in Libra.

Best for:

✅ Networking
✅ Working on your social media strategy (for content creators)
✅ Spending some quality time with friends
✅ Team-building events

Avoid:

Because Venus is retrograde, there are a couple of things this Opportunity Period is NOT good for:
