Astrology Forecast for 2026

Happy New Year! Warmest wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2026, from my home to yours.🎇🎉🍾
I hope you'll enjoy this summary of the extraordinary energy shift we're experiencing. If you'd like a more in-depth look, join me for my webinar "Navigating 2026"!
2026… The Tectonic Shift Continues
2025–2026 are two monumental years astrologically—just as impactful as 2020, but with a very different vibe.
In 2025, we got a preview of the energy shift that fully lands in 2026. Four outer planets changed signs—an extraordinary and disruptive moment for the collective, yet full of potential. The world order is undergoing a tectonic shift, already visible in economics and international relations.
Of the four planets, Jupiter changes signs every year, so it's not a huge astro-event (but it's still impactful). And Saturn changes signs every 2.5 years.
But Uranus and Neptune shifting in the same year is rare and profound. Uranus hasn’t been in Gemini since 1941–1949, so only those in their 70s and 80s recall that energy. And Neptune in Aries? None of us have lived through it—it takes 165 years for Neptune to travel around the Zodiac.
Meanwhile, we’re still integrating Pluto’s move into Aquarius. With its 248-year orbit, Pluto in Aquarius is another energy that is brand-new to all of us living today!
What's more, the outer planets form rare alignments in 2025-2026 (more on that below).
Uranus and Neptune only dipped briefly into their new signs in 2025. Think of 2025 as two energetic inoculations, foreign to the collective system - side effects and all. It’s about the magnitude of the shift. It feels like we’ve entered an accelerated timeline where change unfolds so quickly our collective heads are spinning.
In 2026, the planets settle into their new homes, testing our ability to integrate this energy.
Fortunately, they form many harmonious aspects throughout the year. So while 2026 is pivotal, it may also be profoundly promising. I’m keeping my fingers crossed—but then, I’m an eternal optimist.
1 – Prepare for Change and More Change
Without change, there’s no progress. Yet even if you’re an early adopter, eagerly saying “Yes, Universe, bring it on!” change still brings uncertainty.
We’re pushed out of the routines we love, and the comfort they bring. One day the future feels full of promise, the next it’s filled with worry. That’s human nature:
2025 and 2026 compress extraordinary change into a short span. So much is shifting at once! "Radical uncertainty", as Bloomberg calls it. We've entered an unprecedented period when technological, economic, and geopolitical change all converge.
The key planetary transits indicating massive change are the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0 degrees Aries, and a series of Uranus-Pluto trines. More on that below.
But first, let me ask you something:
- How prepared are you to deal with rapid change?
- What can you do to thrive during the times of uncertainty?
- What is your unique value in your professional life, that can't be replaced by AI?
- And, last but not least - how can you make rapid technological progress work for you? After all, it comes with massive opportunities!
Something to consider in preparation for 2026.
2 – Go with Personal Agency, not "Me First"
3 – The Outer Planets Are Aligned in a Minor Triangle
In 2025-2026, the planets return to some of the positions that were active during major turning points in human history. They were pivotal points, and many - sadly- were associated with war and conflict. This is especially true for the natal chart of the USA.
Neptune was at 1° Aries, on the IC (the 4th House Cusp that represents foundation) of the natal chart of the USA, during the American Civil War. Uranus was about to enter Gemini when the USA joined World War II.
Under a Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius in 1846, the US-Mexican war led to the annexation and later incorporation of California, Texas, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and the redefinition of borders.
The same planetary alignments repeat in 2025-2026.
Hopefully, this time around, the worst of these energies is already playing out as "WWT" - World War Trade, as the press dubbed it. While unsettling to the global economy, it's still better than another world war.
While these historical parallels may sound ominous, 2025-2026 also brings encouraging astrological news. You can tell a lot about the year ahead by the aspects the outer planets make. And in 2025-2026, they get along beautifully (well, for the most part), promising significant progress.
Pluto, Uranus and Neptune are aligned, on and off, in a Minor Triangle: two sextiles and a trine. Saturn is part of this auspicious planetary configuration until early April 2026.
Neptune continues to make very favourable aspects through 2026: hopefully we'll see major breakthroughs in the medical field, especially in June-September 2026!
4 – Key Astro-Events of 2026
February 20, 2026: Saturn-Neptune Conjunction at 0° Aries
Neptune enters Aries on January 26, and Saturn follows on February 13. They meet in a spectacular and highly impactful conjunction on February 20. We've felt its energy since April 2025, when the conjunction first came into orb.
It dissolves the old and ushers in something very, very different. Already, it’s playing out as a new economic world order.
April 2025 was the month when the U.S. administration announced tariffs, dubbed “WWT" - World War Trade - in the press. What followed was a scramble to rewire partnerships and the sobering realization that decades-long alliances were breaking, and new power blocs could be formed.
A Saturn–Neptune conjunction can bring disillusionment and reality checks, for the world and in our personal lives. But it’s also a massive creative force, a chance to build new realities. Conjunctions are powerful—they can be used for good or ill. We all have agency, as do world leaders.
This aspect recurs every 36 years and often coincides with ideological shifts. Russia and the USA have historically been especially attuned to this energy, so these countries can undergo big changes in 2025-2026. And, as we know, it's already happening.
Historically, this conjunction has also coincided with the rise of charismatic leaders who reshape global affairs. Some were destructive, but hopefully this cycle will bring positive leadership.
You can read more about the potential global impacts of the conjunction here.
Since the conjunction has been active since April 2025, I've already seen it playing out in my clients' lives. It can have profound personal impacts! I cover it in detail in my webinar, "Navigating 2026". If you're interested to learn more, you can register here. Or, you can always book a reading with me!
April 25, 2026: Uranus Re-enters Gemini
Uranus has already given us a taste of this Gemini energy between July and November 2025. Uranus is innovative and restless. In the next 6+ years, we're likely to see technology-driven revolutionization of the way we communicate and connect, social platforms, media, travel and education.
Read more about Uranus in Gemini here.
If you're a Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, Pisces, Virgo or Sagittarius, personal changes are on the horizon.
Jupiter Starts the Year in Cancer
Jupiter has been in Gemini since June 9, 2025, and will continue trekking through the Sign of the Crab until June 29, 2026.
Jupiter's transits often boost industries associated with that sign. Cancer, ruled by the Moon, is about family, property, real estate, the food industry, and silver.
But, the thing is, Jupiter can also bring excesses, so there can be a high demand OR over-supply. Here in Canada, Jupiter's transit of Cancer has brought an oversupply of condos for sale in two major urban centers: Vancouver and Toronto. Much depends on the aspects Jupiter makes, and in 2025, it formed a challenging square with Saturn in the summer.
If you're signed up for my newsletter, hopefully you bought some silver when I first highlighted that it was likely to appreciate. It did, in fact, reach a historic peak in November 2025, when Jupiter made an extended trine with Saturn.
So, what about 2026?
Jupiter Then Moves Into Leo: June 29, 2026
Jupiter changes signs annually, and it's always an exciting part of the year, because opportunities for expansion and advancement shift.
Where do these opportunities appear? For personal impacts, look at the House (=area of your life) Jupiter is transiting, and the aspects it makes.
Jupiter in Leo is traditionally associated with the following:
- Government spending
- Gold
- Entertainment industry
- Luxury goods
- Parks and recreation
After it enters Leo, Jupiter makes a volatile opposition with Pluto on July 20, a harmonious trine with Neptune on the same day, and a stabilizing trine with Saturn on August 31.
Uranus–Pluto Trine: July 18 and November 29, 2026
Another energy of major change! Considering the trine is in Gemini and Pluto, changes will be technology-driven, and can affect several areas all at once.
This trine repeats in cycles (105, 37, 74, and 37 years) due to Pluto’s orbit. The last exact series was in 1921–22; the next will be in 2063–65.
Uranus and Pluto formed a near-trine in 2025, but the aspect peaks in 2026 in two exact trines.
- July 18, 2026: at 4° Gemini (Uranus) and Aquarius (Pluto)
- November 29, 2026: at 3° Gemini (Uranus) and Aquarius (Pluto)
It'll repeat again over the next 2 years:
- June 15, 2027
- January 13, 2028
- May 9, 2028
The last Uranus–Pluto trines coincided with major political power shifts, often toward the political right. We may see echoes of that now.
But this energy also accelerates massive change. With Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, expect dizzying technological advances. I wonder if this time, the upcoming power shift is between humans and technology.
In your personal life, if this trine connects with your natal chart, it can bring a major transformational and empowering change. I've seen this happen in my clients' lives as well!
Nodal Axis Shifts Into Aquarius/Leo: July 26, 2026
A lot of change, you're thinking? Well, there is more! In 2026, the nodal axis shifts into Aquarius/Leo. We'll have 2 eclipses along the Pisces-Virgo axis and 2 eclipses along the new Aquarius-Leo axis.
In my experience, the eclipse signs can be a very accurate predictor of the experience we're going to have during that period.
Eclipses in Pisces and Virgo are associated with unexpected events related to some of the following:
- healthcare
- drugs
- social work
- spirituality
- data and systems
- borders (including country borders)
- ocean
- floods
- oil and the oil industry (including oil tankers), and
- the fishing industry.
And boy oh boy, did this ever come true in 2025 while eclipses moved through Virgo and Pisces! The USA administration overtures to annex Greenland and Canada dominated the news through parts of the year.
Drugs and drug trafficking were also in the spotlight.
So, what's next?
The themes brought on by the Pisces-Virgo eclipses will continue through 2026. But there can also be unexpected shake-ups in the following areas, represented by Leo and Aquarius:
- governments, kings, presidents, and political parties
- DEI and human rights in general
- large shifts in the cultural morality and mindset
- scientific discoveries
- athletes and entertainment personalities can rise or fall from prominence
- parks, vacations, luxury goods and pleasure industries
- the price of gold can experience swings
- the stock market can experience swings
- electricity
- lightning and wind storms
Eclipse Dates:
- February 17, 2026 at 4:01 a.m. PST: Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius (North Node eclipse)
- March 3, 2026 at 3:38 a.m. PST: Lunar Eclipse at 12° Virgo (South Node eclipse)
- August 12, 2026 at 10:37 a.m. PDT: Solar Eclipse at 20° Leo (South Node eclipse)
- August 27, 2026 at 9:18 p.m. PDT: Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces (North Node eclipse)
If you're a Pisces, Virgo, Leo, or Aquarius, pay attention to the dates and degrees of these eclipses. If the eclipse dates are within 3 days of your birthday, 2026 may bring radical shifts—especially if other transits are also affecting your natal chart.
Venus Retrograde: October 3 - November 13, 2026
Venus will go retrograde again this year. The retrograde:
- Starts on October 3 at 8° Scorpio.
-
Ends on November 13 at 22° Libra
Some astro-tips for Venus Retrograde:
- Reflect on your needs in a relationship
- Heal blocks to love
- Exes might resurface - do you really want them back?
- Inauspicious for a wedding or a marriage proposal
-
Not the greatest time for anything “beautification”, such as cosmetic surgery or expensive renovations
- “Must haves” or routine procedures are fine
A quick note that during the last two Venus Retrogrades, the stock market went through a correction...
Mercury Retrogrades in 2026:
In 2026, we have 3 Mercury Retrogrades, all in Water Signs:
- February 26 – March 20, 2026: 22° to 8° Pisces
- June 29 – July 23, 2026: 26° to 16° Cancer
-
October 24 – November 13, 2026: 20° to 5° Scorpio
Throughout my professional career, I made two big hiring mistakes. They both happened when Mercury was retrograde in Water Signs, when emotions can cloud your judgment. Just saying!
