New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries: April 8 2024, 11:21 a.m. PDT, at 19° Aries

This New Moon is also a powerful Solar Eclipse! At 19° Aries, it's conjunct Chiron, the North Node, and Mercury Rx. Breakthroughs in terms of personal healing are possible now. Reach out to an estranged loved one. If you're in therapy, a big breakthrough is possible the week before or after this eclipse. Look for the patterns and behaviours that followed you from your past, but that are no longer aligned with you as a person, and may be holding you back.
As with all eclipses, the energy is unpredictable and very, very powerful. If you need to make any major decisions 3 days before or after an eclipse, make sure your reasoning is sound - too often, eclipses can bring a surge of unstable, emotional energy that is not helpful. And, Mercury is now retrograde, as of April 1, which adds another caution.
If you set your intentions on a New Moon, be aware that if you do so on a Solar Eclipse, what you desire could materialize fast, but there could be a cost attached, or it could come into your life in a turbulent way.
Having said that, if you're a risk-taker at heart, then ride the powerful wave of the eclipse! Eclipses open a portal that can take you years into the future. What you thought was not going to be possible for a number of years, can materialize now.
For the world at large, eclipses in Aries can bring increased military action, or sudden developments in the matters of war and peace.
Aries is a fast sign, and eclipses in Aries can act early, a few weeks prior to the eclipse.
With all that said, if you're not afraid of risk, this New Moon/Solar Eclipse is fantastic for asking the Universe for healthy assertiveness, making courageous choices in life, and boldly pursuing your goals in life.
You're not limited to the topics I suggest in this post. Setting intentions for anything you want to attract into your life is fair game on a New Moon. But, intentions for the matters ruled by Aries will get an extra boost.
If you were born between April 6-12 or October 9-15, this eclipse will be particularly impactful for you.
The same will apply if you have personal planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, IC or MC) between 17-21° Aries or Libra.

How To:
- Set your intentions soon after the new Moon, within 8 hours if you can (within 24 hours will still work). Set aside about 30 minutes for this.
- If you have a red or orange candle (for drive and vitality), you can light it for your intention setting. And, if you work with crystals, charge a red jasper or a carnelian under this New Moon, for increased confidence and vitality.
- Focus on your intentions. Truly FEEL them. Then write them down and keep them. Visualize what it will feel like when you receive what you’re calling into your life. How will it feel when you get your project going and start seeing first successes? What will it feel like when you have had that difficult conversation in a confident and assertive yet productive manner? Then write down your intentions and keep them.

"I want to consistently feel confident and courageous".
"I want to experience deep, transformational healing around my lack of confidence".

“I want to easily find myself taking risks that are beneficial for me”.
“I want to be able to confidently take charge of my life”.
