I remember attending a team meeting with a group of young interns we hired. I was checking in about their experience at our company. For many, it was their first job. "Well, I guess that's what being a working adult feels like", said a dark-haired young woman, lighting the Zoom meeting with an infectious smile. "Adulting is hard!" I heard this phrase before, and still it made me laugh. It was so perfectly Saturn. 

After 4 ½ months in Retrograde, Saturn, the planet of responsibility and commitment – but also of challenges and restrictions – turns direct on November 15. And when it visits our natal chart, that's exactly what it's asking us to do - to become (even) more of an adult, regardless of our age.

If you know astrology, chances are you look forward to a positive Jupiter transit with excitement and anticipation.  But, sometimes it feels like nothing positive actually happened. Or....did it?   In this post, I share a number of astro-tips I've collected over the years.

Eclipses are wild cards in astrology.  They tend to electrify the areas they touch, to shake them up and revitalize them.

That plays out on the collective level as well as on a personal level, if an eclipse connects with your natal chart.

The nodal axis moves into Pisces-Virgo in January 2025, with the first eclipse in Pisces coming in September 2024.  And what a powerful eclipse this is! 

So, what can we expect? 

September brings very powerful energies. Pluto retrogrades into Capricorn on September 1 - for the last time in our lifetime!   The eclipse season kicks off with a powerhouse of a Lunar Eclipse - the first in a series of Pisces-Virgo eclipses.  And, if you're a Virgo, you might just be the lucky recipient of the planets aligning themselves into a rare Grand Trine/Kite this month!

Leo Season is all about embracing your personal power, allowing yourself to shine, and bringing out your inner appreciator. 

So how can you best use the energies of this season to boost your leadership skills?  Here are some things to try when the Sun is in Leo.

July is a good month astrologically.  Mars makes a high number of aspects, and so there are many good dates for career or business undertakings. The first 10 days of the month feature strong Cancer energies.  Focus on your home, family and roots! Neptune turns retrograde on July 2, giving the first two weeks a dreamy, compassionate vibe.

June's energies are book-ended:  the first week offers the best energies of the month, with a very lovely Sun-Venus conjunction (a.k.a. Venus Starpoint), It opens the heart and is one of the best energies of the year for love, healing and acceptance.

Then, the Sun, Mercury and Venus, all in Gemini, take turns butting heads with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces.  It's the energy of confusion, lack of clarity, and frustrating obstacles and delays.

But, celestial peace is restored when the last week of June arrives.
