Astrologically speaking, the New Moon is the time to set intentions to attract what you want into your life.

This New Moon in Leo is is THE day of the year to set intentions for creativity, joy, attracting or enhancing romance, and creating a joyful relationship with your children.

One of the things I love about astrology is that it keeps us connected with the larger cycles of the Universe. As the Sun travels through the Zodiac, each month we get a chance to “try on” the qualities of that sign and stretch out of our comfort zone! 

Leo is about having unabashed fun, taking center stage, and unapologetically appreciating your own fine qualities 😊 Most importantly, it’s also about creativity, warm-heartedness, and generosity toward others.

Everyone knows their Sun Sign.  You might be a Leo. Or a Taurus. Or a Scorpio.

But your Moon sign is at least as important. It describes your emotional nature, and what you need more or less of to feel safe and secure emotionally.

It also provides a lot of insights into your relationship with your Mom, and into how you are - or going to be - as a parent.

And....sadly....Mercury enters its Storm, getting ready to turn retrograde on July 17.

July brings yet another big planetary shift:  Uranus temporarily enters Gemini. Considering it takes Uranus 7 years to move through a sign, this is a significant astro-event.  The first week of July brings the best energies, especially for love and romance.  After, we have to Mercury Retrograde to contend with. 

This week brings the best energies of July.  Don't miss the Opportunity Period early in the week, sit out the lengthy Moon-void-of-course mid-week, and lean into the supportive energies for love and romance at the end of the week.

The week stars with the Balsamic Moon slipping into a lengthy void-of-course:  a double whammy! Save important launches until Thursday, when a lovely Opportunity Period sails along.  And don't forget to set your intentions on the New Moon in Cancer, on Wednesday! 

One of the biggest planetary energies of 2025-2026 is about to come into full force.  A Saturn-Neptune (near) conjunction peaks in the skies on June 29 and August 1.  It will become exact in February 2025.  

This powerful aspect can bring a major shift, on the world scene, and - if it connects with your natal chart - for you personally. 

We're in the astrologically tense part of 2025.  Jupiter squares Saturn and Neptune between June 15-19, as they are building toward a near-conjunction on June 29.  It will repeat on August 1.  The Sun, as it enters Cancer this week, sets off these energies.
